Your hours stay on your phone. Nothing leaves it — not to us, not to anyone.
一What we collect
Nothing. Chronos does not ask for your name, your email, or any account. It has no sign-in. It does not measure how you use it, and it carries no advertising and no third-party tracking software of any kind.
There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no social-media trackers inside the app. We did not add them, and we do not plan to.
二Where your data lives
Everything Chronos creates — your sessions, the hours you weigh, the orchard of trees and fruit, and any line you choose to write — is stored only on your device. It never travels to a server, because Chronos has no server. It is not transmitted to Archest or to anyone else.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. We keep no copy, because we never had one.
三The network
Chronos works entirely offline. In ordinary use it makes no network requests at all — every scene is painted on the device and every sound is synthesized there from pure math, with nothing fetched, streamed, or uploaded. You can keep the app in airplane mode forever and lose nothing.
四No sharing, no selling
Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to share and nothing to sell. We do not, and cannot, hand your information to advertisers, data brokers, or partners. There are no such partners.
五Your rights
Privacy laws give you the right to ask a company for the data it holds about you — to see it, export it, or have it erased. With Chronos there is nothing to request: we hold no data about you on any server. Your information is already entirely in your hands, on your own device, under your own control.
To remove everything Chronos has ever stored, simply delete the app.
六Children's privacy
Chronos is safe for people of every age. It collects no personal information from anyone — children included — because it collects no personal information at all. There is no chat, no community, no link out to the open web, and nothing for a child to share or be shown.
七Changes to this policy
If Chronos ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top before that change reaches you. Our intent — an app that keeps nothing — is not something we expect to walk back.
